Access (Database), Introduction

This class introduces the basic functions of the powerful database program, Microsoft Access. You will learn the basics of tables, queries, forms, reports, and interfacing with other applications. Accessible Computing New

This is a class for those individuals who would like to learn how to use the accessibility features of their computer, tips and tricks for computing when you have low vision, keyboard shortcuts, finding accessible websites and learning how to make your keyboard easier to use if you suffer from a mild tremor or stiff fingers. Adobe Bridge, Tips and Tricks New

Students will learn the top time-saving tips and tricks while working with real world hands-on Adobe Bridge CS4 projects. Class demonstrations will be included (but not limited to) Importing Images, Enhanced camera, RAW, nondestructive image adjustment techniques, sort files quickly, avoiding problems, full-screen Previews and NEW Review Modes, and how to create Virtual image and file groups, as well as review the Top Ten Shortcuts for Adobe Bridge, and some not so obvious tools. Adobe Creative Suite, Introduction New

Are you new to creative software or need to understand how creative tools work together to create beautiful content for print and the web? This course offers an introduction to the Adobe Creative Suite CS3, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Adobe Bridge. Projects will include: Getting started, creating effective photography, designing a corporate identity system, creating interactive newsletters and forms, create eye-popping charts and tables, design magazine layouts and annual reports, create a personal portfolio and improve your workflow. Adobe Dreamweaver, Introduction New

In this fast-paced class, students will create a basic presentation mock-up of their website, followed by developing and testing the website in Adobe Dreamweaver. The class is taught from the perspective of a designer, with a focus on aesthetics, web standards and CSS technology.
