Collage and Mixed Media 
This is a new exciting class, taught by Ginger Huebner, experimenting with a wide variety of art mediums and materials (paint, chalk, markers, pencils, etc.) along with other items; old books, photographs, magazines, and newspapers clippings. You will be working in two-dimensions producing small-scale practice studies on the way to creating either one large work or a series of smaller works in collage on paper. Nature's Notebook I: Drawing in Pen and Ink
You will learn to illustrate the intricacies of a flower or capture the delicate essence of a fern frond and to tune your powers of observation. By drawing and writing in your diary or sketchbook, you will learn more than any camera ever taught. Using the local landscape for inspiration, you will draw flowers, leaves, mosses and lichen. This class is appropriate for the beginning student in addition to the accomplished artist. Pastel Painting, Beginning

Sculpting: Carving in Stone
In this class, you will be introduced to the process of carving stone with hand tools. Beginners start with alabaster or soapstone, both fairly soft stones that can be easily carved. Instruction will be given in three-dimensional design, stone types and their use in sculpture, and knowing your tools. This class also provides a regular scheduled opportunity to work, get feedback from other artists, and a chance to both learn and share the knowledge you've acquired.
