A-B Tech students can take FREE Microsoft Certification exams in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) using Office 2003 or Office 2007 (while supplies last – there are a limited number of vouchers). Please reference certification exam details (pdf).
Each voucher is good for one exam (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint or Outlook). For example, if you are seeking certification in Word and Access, that would require two vouchers.
Non-A-B Tech students can receive a free voucher but would pay a proctoring fee ($25 for the first exam and $15 for each additional exam). Usually these exams cost from $69-$99 each.
Each exam is timed for 50 minutes. However, you must allow one hour total for "paperwork" and registration.
