The Real Estate Appraisal certificate program meets the N. C. Appraisal Board pre-licensing education requirements. Upon completion of the first three courses, you may take the state exam to become a Registered Trainee. This allows you to begin working in appraisal and begin accumulating the required experience points. Completion of the experience requirements and the fourth course qualifies you to take the Residential Certification exam. Completion of the fifth and sixth courses and meeting experience requirements qualifies you to take the exam to become a Certified General Appraiser.
