Registration Procedure for New Students
New classified students (those who have been accepted into a program) who are beginning classes in the Fall Semester will receive a letter during the summer with information about a special program orientation and registration session. New classified students who enter A-B Tech in the Fall Semester (and those who started during the summer as unclassified students, but who have been accepted into a program to start in the Fall) will meet with their program advisor and other new students in their program for the orientation/registration session. This usually occurs in July. The letter will contain the exact date, time and location.
New unclassified students will register after the new classified students in the Fall. These students will also receive a mailing about registration during the summer. Unclassified students must meet with a counselor or advisor in the Counseling Center in the Azalea Building prior to registration.
For the Spring and Summer semesters, all new students whether classified or unclassified will register after the currently enrolled students. Registration dates will be published in the Spring and Summer schedules.
All registration forms must be signed by the advisor prior to registration.
